An accomplished administrator with diverse professional experience, Ian Oldaker holds a bachelor of arts in history from Loyola University Maryland, a master of fine arts in acting from Brooklyn College, and master of science in global affairs from New York University. After working on more than 100 productions as an off-Broadway theater technical director and production manager, Ian Oldaker accepted his first senior administrative post as director of operations and vice president of operations and planning for the National September 11 Memorial and Museum near the One World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan. In this role, he helped the EVP of development create a $500 million campaign to raise funds and awareness.

Mr. Oldaker went on to serve as chief operations officer of the SPYSCAPE museum in Midtown Manhattan. He has owned and operated Visitor Experience Solutions since 2021. Based in greater Pittsburgh, his firm advises museums and other public attractions that want to boost visitor engagement and operational efficiency.
